Meet The EBISS UK Team

What makes EBISS different from other exhibition and logistics companies?  Simply put – it’s our people!  Small, but perfectly formed, our team of logistics experts are always on hand to ensure your event goes smoothly and your shipments are delivered in perfect condition and on time.  Here at EBISS, it is our outstanding customer service and real attention to detail that separates us from our competitors. This, combined with our extensive knowledge of the intricacies involved in the planning of an event and the transporting of freight.

Our working family continues to grow steadily. We have a tight-knit team that is dedicated and with a genuine desire to provide our clients with the best service we can give. Wayne Forster – Managing Director

Wayne Forster – Founder & Managing Director of EBISS UK Ltd, CEO of EBISS USA Inc.

Wayne started out in IT, working for an exhibition freight agent in Birmingham, but swiftly moved into the operations department and finally heading up the NEC operations.  He has handled some of the largest events at the NEC which included the management and coordination of forklifts, cranes, labour and scheduling vast quantities of trucks and movements globally.

He didn’t want to stay in this role as it was not sufficiently challenging and moved onto to a large event freight forwarder in the South East.

After 2 years, he moved to Chicago to work for a US trade show Customs broker.  His role there was to develop the international side of the business and successfully took the company from zero sales in international events to a leading force in under 2 years.

Wayne is actively involved in event logistics and added both service and technology which has enhanced our position within the industry, since the creation of EBISS in the UK and the US.

Wayne has previously been involved with projects which include the Diana, Princess of Wales Exhibition as well as the Tutankhamun exhibition at the O2 London and also in Vienna.  This included a Boeing 747 charter flight, trucks in rotation from Stansted Airport to the O2, 18 ocean containers and many airfreight shipments that needed to be coordinated and handled safely and on-time.


Rhonda Dearsley – Business Development Manager

Rhonda joined our team in June 2019 as our Business Development Manager. With many years of experience both exhibiting and running exhibitions, Rhonda has seen all sides of the events industry. She brings all this great wealth of experience to bear to help our customers identify how we can help them deliver their shows effectively and efficiently!

Lauren Curle – General Manager

Lauren Curle – General Manager

Lauren originally comes from a security & event solutions background with a strong focus on Health & Safety.  She brings with her expert organisational skills, to be our general manager overseeing the Ops Team and company compliance.


Mark Maskell – Special Events Manager

Mark joined the EBISS team in 2015 in our busy operations department. Through his previous roles, Mark has extensive knowledge and understanding of worldwide logistics and events. He is great with clients and a brilliant fit with the team.  Promoted to Operations Manager in September 2016 Mark has recently taken on a more specialised role of Special Events Manager to best use his vast experience and knowledge when it comes to ensuring large events run smoothly  – for us and all our clients.

Joining the EBISS team in September 2015, Mark has a wealth of experience in the courier and logistics industry and over 10 years in freight forwarding.  Mark’s experience working with many large clients and agents across the world ensures he has a sharp insight into all aspects of our freight and shipping requirements.  Mark works alongside Amanda to form our Freight specialist team – ensuring that our customer’s shipments always get where they need to be; when they need to be there.


Amanda Phelan – Operations Executive

Amanda Phelan – Operations

Amanda brings a wealth of logistics experience to her role and has worked in the courier industry for the last 25 years, 11 of these years within customer services. Dealing with the banking industry, mobile customer support visiting customers out in the field and dealing with any customer service related issues face to face. She then changed her focus for the following 14 years and worked as an Operations Manager ensuring the smooth running of the whole operation.

Amanda joined EBISS in June 2019 and is working on the freight side alongside Mark Rice, arranging imports/exports of goods for events and exhibitions.


Adele Tuck – Office Manager

Adele joined the team in May 2018 to keep all of us in check and ensure the company remains compliant with all regulations, policies and processes.  Supporting every member of the team in their roles offering backup and assistance when required.  Nothing gets past eagle-eyed Adele!


Luke Harris – Warehouse Manager


Luke Harris – Warehouse Manager

Luke joined us in January of 2017 to manage our busy warehouse.  He has over 15 years of warehouse management experience.


Natalie Bruce – Marketing Executive

Natalie joined us in February 2019 and is responsible for all our Social Media and all things Marketing. (don’t forget to follow us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook & Twitter!) and marketing activities.


Ruth Roberts – Accounts Administrator

Ruth keeps us all on the straight and narrow.  She supports our accounts department with credit control and invoicing.

She is quite shy so we’re still trying to get a picture of her for the web!
