What can I use it for?
The iTab instantly gives your stand kerb appeal and draws visitors to your stand. It can be used to run any digital content such as videos, display brochures, connect to the internet to show your social media, website or maps for location queries – or even useful show specific information such as timetables for the local train station, for example.

Will our exhibition stand visitors know how to use it?
Absolutely! Every visitor will already be familiar with a touch screen smart phone – the iTab user interface is exactly the same. This means there is no barrier to people approaching and interacting with this technology. There is no ‘fear of the new’ as they already know how to use it – it’s just much bigger and more impressive than usual!

It features the usual pinch to zoom and flick functionality of your phone and it uses the 10-point touch for a smooth and responsive user experience.

Does it need Wi-Fi/internet connection?
It can have valuable applications whether online or offline. If you want to run apps online, then yes, it would require an internet connection. However you can also upload your own brochures, photos, videos, floor plans so it can still be a very useful tool for generating customer engagement even without an internet connection.

The Giant iTab can be used with either Wi-Fi or Ethernet connections. Due to the unreliability of show Wi-Fi we would recommend it is hard wired using Ethernet.

Is it complicated to set up the online apps?
Absolutely not! Its as simple as downloading the apps from Google Play Store – exactly as you would on a Smartphone

How do I load my own brochures onto the iTab?
We can do that for you, so it is all ready to go when you arrive at your stand. Contact us for more details on the formats that are compatible to upload your own bespoke information to the unit.

Does it have to be used in the upright position?
No, it can be rotated 90° and used in a landscape orientation if you prefer.

What is the screen display quality?
The touch screen display is Full HD 1920 x 1080 16:9

Does it have speakers?
Yes, just like a smartphone, it has in built speakers. These can be volume adjusted or turned off – whatever you need.

Is it Apple compatible?
The Giant iTab can be used with either iOS or Android systems

Can you print from it?
Yes, you can plug in an external printer.  If you have other equipment that you would like to connect to the unit, please contact us and we can advise if this will be possible.

Is it just mirroring a mobile phone?
No, it is not connected to a mobile phone at all. All of the content is run natively within the unit.

Does it have Bluetooth connectivity?
Yes. The iTab Cores are 802.11ac Dual-Band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz / 5.8GHz) certified and support Bluetooth V 4.0 (the Bluetooth function for iOS is certified, but is not supported)

Can it make phone calls?
If connected to the internet (via Ethernet recommended) you can use 3rd party apps such as WhatsApp and Skype to make calls, but it does not connect to any mobile phone networks.

How much does it cost to hire?
