In the years since EBISS was formed our working family has steadily increased. We have a team that is dedicated and with a genuine desire to provide our clients with the best service we can give. Wayne started out in IT, working for an exhibition freight agent in Birmingham, but swiftly moved into the operations department and finally heading up the NEC operations. He has handled some of the largest events at the NEC which included the management and coordination of forklifts, cranes, labour and scheduling vast quantities of trucks and movements globally.
He didn’t want to stay in this role as it was not sufficiently challenging and moved onto to a large event freight forwarder in the South East.
After 2 years, he moved to Chicago to work for a US trade show Customs broker. His role there was to develop the international side of the business and successfully took the company from zero sales in international events to a leading force in under 2 years.
Since his return to the UK, Wayne has been actively involved in event logistics and added both service and technology which has enhanced our position within the industry
Previous projects that Wayne has been involved with include Diana, Princess of Wales Exhibition as well as the Tutankhamun exhibition at the O2 London and also in Vienna. This included a Boeing 747 charter flight, trucks in rotation from Stansted Airport to the O2, 18 ocean containers and many airfreight shipments that needed to be co-ordinated and handled safely and on-time.
Mark joined the EBISS team in 2015 in our busy operations department. Through his previous roles, Mark has extensive knowledge and understanding of worldwide logistics and events. He is great with clients and a brilliant fit with the team. He was promoted to Operations Manager in September 2016.
Mark joined the EBISS team in September 2015. He has a wealth of experience in the courier and logistics industry and over 10 years in freight forwarding. He has worked with many large clients and agents across the world and we’re pleased to have him on board.
Mark joined the EBISS team in June 2016. He has worked for a major courier company as a driver and Customer Services. He looks after our transport movements and is a key man for the installations of our clients’ exhibition stands.
Adele joined the team in May 2018 to keep all of us in check and ensure the company remains compliant with all regulations, policies and processes. Supporting every member of the team in their roles offering backup and assistance when required. She is eagle-eyed for detail so nothing gets past her.
Luke joined us in January of 2017 to manage our busy warehouse. He has over 15 years of warehouse management experience.
Natalie joined us in February 2019 and is responsible for all our Social Media and all things Marketing. (don’t forget to follow us on LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook & Twitter!) and marketing activities.
Ruth keeps us all on the straight and narrow. She supports our accounts department with credit control and invoicing.
She is quite shy so we’re still trying to get a picture of her for the web!
